Coronado Village

Coronado is Spanish for “the crowned one” giving Coronado its nickname, the Crown City. One look at Coronado’s lush green canopy, jeweled waters and small-town charm, coupled with its over-the-bridge proximity to downtown and it is easy to understand why so many people want to call Coronado home.

Close to parks, beaches and downtown shops, the Village is the heart of Coronado.
The Village is the area between the Bay and the Ocean with North Island Naval Air Station on the north and the Coronado Golf Course and the Hotel Del Coronado to the South. It is about 6 square miles. The Village has approximately 3,000 single-family homes and 1000 condominiums as well as a number of apartments. The prices range from $500,000 to over $15,000,000 and there are a variety of architectural styles to help make Coronado such an attractive place to live. In the heart of the Village we have Coronado High School, Middle School and Elementary School all of which have state of the art facilities and have been rated as some of the best schools in San Diego County! Orange Avenue, which runs through the heart of Coronado, is filled with quaint shops and outstanding restaurants. There are parks, tennis courts, a public golf course, marina, community center, recreation center, library, numerous churches, theaters and one of the most beautiful beaches in all of the United States.
